front clips

Ive looked around and cant seem to get a solid answer. When you get a silvia front clip, do they cut if ot and weld it back on? cut it off and u take it off the chassis and bolt it all on? would you guys recomend i get a front clip or just get the conversion for my 240? thanks

eh!?!?!?! How they make a front clip is they cut the front of the car in japan..ship it here. The importer gets it and sells it to one of the customers. The customer has it and then swaps all the neccessary parts from the front clip to his car. Then if done right it should work and be running. I didnt really get ur question kus it was kinda confusing so i babbled on..hope that helps..

It's basically what HyJynX said. I used to think you had to weld the front clip on but I was clueless. Basically, you strip the front clip of everything you need and throw out the rest.

i think he meant a front end conversion.... Should he add on a front clip or buy a conversion kit.
