whoa there turbo.... you dont want to just swp it in there can be some issues these motors are old...

change you water pump thermostat, clutch, ,heck your turbo cause these are offten blown, and head gasket, also you may wanna change your rob berrings and main berrings its is worth it since you have another car

That is a lot of crap to change. I wasn't planning on swapping it in any time soon. I was just trying to get a little input. I know the clutch and flywheel is goign to be changed. As well as the thermostat. The car is going to get a base dyno run though before i upgrade the turbo, and headgasket.

At a minimum, for a motor that is more than a decade old, I would swap:

Water pump
retorque rod cap bolts
new Felpro headgasket ( w/ copper gasket spray on it ) and new head bolts/studs
***Timing belt and tensioners***

The timing belt is the most important part in my opinion. Good luck.

Regards,

well **** guys. If i am going to break off the head, i am going to replace the headgasket with one that will really hold. And if i am going to do that, then i am going to replace the head studs with APR studs. This is really starting to **** me off..."replace this, replace this, replace this.....".

This is just rediculous. I think this is going to be the last post i make on this board.

well dont crap your self about it. just settel down go step by step. i got a 93 sr and i replaced a few things on it because they were 11 years old. its going to happen. things need to be repaired after time. if they didnt, businesses would be bankrupt from lack of business.

this is true. things are alot easier to get to while the engine is out.
