Hardbody "de" Into 89 F/b "e"

Ok!!
I can't seem to get a clear positive answer for what im looking for.

I have the chance to buy a dohc from a hardbody for maybe 200$.

I've been told has a bent rod...is it worth my time to replace rods ? If that is all thats wrong with it...

My f/b has the sohc and manual.. but will the dohc hardbody fit ??

Will sohc tranny and drive shaft fit to the dohc..??

I've already had the sohc rebuilt and broke down after 2000K miles!!!!!!!!

I know i will need the engine harness and ecu from the hardbody.. but will it work in the fast back??

PLEASE ANY COMMENTS OR CONCERNS.... PLEASE LET ME KNOW.??

if it has a thrown rod chances are thats not all thats wrong with it. one thing for sure is that the bearing is bad. and possible the cylinder walls. the dohc will fit in there just fine but im not sure about the sohc tranny fitting up to it. i doubt it.

just so you know, hardbody's never came with DOHC. the DOHC was not released into a nissan truck until the Frontier.

all hardbodies came with single cam motors. and theyre junk. and the truck transmission wont work...
