Whats with all these Canadian suppliers of SR20's having real low prices than others? osakajdmmotors.com, japandomesticmotor.com, etc. are they a good reputable place?

i haven't heard much about them, good or bad. $1 usd = ~$1.2cad. wait... but that would make it even cheaper. lol

you can always look them up on other forums. nico, automotiveforums, ect.

edit: nm i just looked at the sites and its in usd. still cheap though.

I think the posts got too old and are gone now, but I saw some post's JDM motor =bad or something like that. I would never let my money leave the states if I were you. If Rickeys is still in Miami check them out. Is "CHEAP" really a good deal if you get crap?

i just recently bought an s13 sr20 red top from jazzproparts.com. very legit but, its says uncut harness mine was cut. and one of my injectors was broke. the guy sent me a breand new harness and a wohle fuel rail. the ecu he sent me had a dent in it. he sent me a brand new ecu as well. it took like 2 weeks to get the replacement parts but well worth it. its making for an easier install.

$1750 with free shipping check them out for sure!

For an engine set with that many problems sounds so-so to me.

yeah good call. The guy i talked to is Jaz. i guess hes the owner or something. anyway, im not ina hurry now but my mechanic told me it was only going to be a 8 day swap. its turned into almost 2 months now. i have decided to store my car there over the winter so its not that big a deal now. but still, i wish things would have gone a little smoother when i bought the motor.

Jazzproparts.com. check them out and tell me what ya think

yea jazz is cheap in their initial price, but then they tell you to add $600 for a ignitor chip, maf, air cooler and piping... now its just the same price as all the other shops.

For Ignitor Chip, Master Air Flow (MAF), Air Cooler, Pipping Please add $595.00 to the total and call for availability.

Dragdriftautox.com is expensive. 3400 for a S14. I can get a S15 motor for that much. Try TotalJDM.com
