how long did it take you to do your rb25/26 swap

I am getting a 95 240, and am going to put a rb25/26 in it, i have done 3 civic swaps and it takes me about 10-12 hours per swap, I am also pretty mechanically inclined, and I know how to weld since the skyline crossmember has to be put in the 240, how long should if take me to do my first 240 swap. How long did it take you your first time. Like I say I have done honda swaps, but I'm new to nissan. Thanks

Oh, and any pointers that you would like to give please feel free to do so. Maybe things you experianced on your first 240 swap.

you dont need a skyline cross member, you just buy a mount kit.

I would say that a basic swap can be done in about 3 days or less give or take and situations that occur.

Honda is NOTHING like a RWD nissan swap.

RB26 is a whole different ball game than a 25.

My first RB25 swap took me about 3 days, with some complication with unusable parts provided, my next few took 2 working days, and the quickest was started in the morning and finished before I left the shop about 9 hours later with absolutely no complications and one guy helping to guide the motor in and nothing more.

completely different world from a honda swap, you cant just drag an RB25 swap out from under the car like you do with a honda motor, haha. I can say one thing for sure, you will learn ALOT by the time you are done. Good luck and have fun.

my rb25 swap took me a saturday and a sunday to swap the motors and then workin on it a couple hours after work for a week since i am not mechanically inclined and have never even tried anything like that before.
