okay, I am trading my friend my Kouki tail lights for: DOHC engine 60k miles (possible head leak), ECU, Harness, stock tailights with the 180sx piece and the 240sx piece, mass airflow sensor, new suspension KBY + TEIN S tech, and parts for the DOHC

Is that all I need to do the swap? If not, what else do I need? Also, do you think this is a good trade?

Another thing, this DOHC came out of a S14, can I still put it in my S13? THe harness is a S13 harness and the ECU is a S13 harness aswell as the MAF

 

the engine will fit with no problems. the egr stuff is different though

S13 harness will not work with an S14 motor, you need a S13 distributer I believe. EGR stands for exhaust gas recirculation, OBD stands for on board diagnostics, the II is just a newer version than the original.

 

exhaust gas recirculation (egr) is strictly for emissions its reroutes some expelled gas back into ur intake to further clean ur eventual emissions unless u live in cali or somewhere strict ditch it since u have an s13 ecu it will be obd 1 and you will not have to worry about many new problems '95+ obdII cars have to worry about

 

I live in Florida, they could care less about emissions =]

that kyb suspension + tein springs alone is probably worth about as much as those tail lights tho btw.
