I'm planning on doing the s14 sr20 swap. I have a few questions regarding this swap.

1. If I upgrade to a front mount intercooler will the intercooler kits made for the s14 sr20det fit on the USDM s14 240sx? Or will I have to do custom ic pipes for the install?

2. Are most of the parts to ugrade the turbo and components all bolt on or will I need some kind of engine management to manage everything (other than an safc)?

3. Are there install kits (like the hoses, belts, etc.) to do a FULL successful sr20 swap?

are you planning on buying a front clip?? or a motor set... in either case... for the intercooler piping just pick up a greddy vspl for s14...ready to go on just some bumper support modifications... or you can be cool and jdm weld your own pipes like me and get a custom core... heavythrottle sells belt kits etc etc...

 

Everyone I spoke to is telling me to get a front kit. But depending on if I can find one at a good price will determine which way I go.

So I guess any aftermarket intercooler will fit with some minor modification?
