It's almost done
Well I've got a 93 240sx coupe, and I took it in a little while ago to get my sr20det blacktop swap in. It will have the following when I pick it up.
-S13 SR20DET black top engine and tranny
-HKS Type S FMIC
-Blitz 3’’ Polished Downpipe
-3'' Test Pipe
-Catback that goes from 3'' from the cat to 4'' a 1/4 of the way from the muffluer
-Greddy/Trust aluminum hot pipe
-A temorary Greddy type S BOV i think, because it is only temporary untill they can get in an HKS SSQV
-ACT XTSS Clutch & Pressure plate
-Boost gauge 20psi
-Tein S tech springs
-KYB AGX struts
-Silvia LSD
And so far I have eliminated 150lbs of weight from the car. My next step is to get a turbo timer and boost controller. But right now I just can't wait to get it from the shop. They plan on starting it up today. Just wanted to let everyone know and see what everyone thinks.

It's costing a pretty decent amount because of the labor, it will be roughly around 6g's. Oh and the suspension and lsd were already purchased and I already had them on the car.
Ouch man. I'm a big fan of DIY, these swaps aren't very hard the SR20 just bolts in mechanically and anyone that's wired a stereo can wire it up. Unless you're loaded(maybe you are), I'd never pay a shop $45-$??? an hour to do a swap. The rest of the parts are just bolt on and easy to do with simple hand tools.

I'm with you on the DIY, but the fact that I am 2.5 hours away from home and at school and in need of the car as soon as I get back and I had the money for it, I decided to just go through with it. I definetly didn't have time to do the work myself. However hopefully from here on out I plan on doing all the work myself since I will be home from school soon.
