ka-t vs. rb25det

Can a ka24de with a stage 3 turbo kit from boost designs or a rb25det be better for my car? since they run about the same price

Depends on modifications to the motor.

My RB25 was so fast I had trouble getting traction when boost hit at full throttle.

see man when you say something like that it makes me even want the rb more. my ka right now skids out alot so i can imagine the rb. another question i have you since you have the rb is 1-whats the most boost you can boost on a daily driver? 2- i know alot of people say the rb can handle 25+ psi but how much can the valvetrain handle? 3- did you rebuild it when you put it in and whats parts did you rebuild? i know you need the fuel pump radiator fans intercooler mount/driveshaft belts clutch, but what else do you need is the water pump really necessary or can i put all those things in and drive it like it was a stock ka and not worry bout a thing?

13.5PSI
Valve train usually have problems with high RPM...I have NEVER heard anyone say the RB25 can handle 25+psi stock.
I ONLY changed head gasket, water pump, thermostat, timing belt & spark plugs.

The water pump is NOT necessary if you like driving around holding a hand grenade with the pin pulled.

DO NOT BE A CHEAP *** AFTER SPENDING $3500+ ON THE MOTOR

Its the STUPIDEST thing I see all the time...spens a ****load on a new motor then cheap out when installing it. The motor is a daily driven motor in Japan....it is the same here.
