ka24de not starting- Fresh Swap!!!
Ok guys,
The KA is almost up and running. I ran codes and have gotten the codes:
12, 13, and 34
MAF, KNOCK and Engine Coolant Temp Sensor.
At first the car started and idled rough. It idled low and then normal and then started to want to die. Now it wont start at all. During the initail idle when I stepped on the gas the car would die. What is the cause of this?
The MAF was for sure good as it came of my other DE. But the knock and Engine coolant temp sensor I am at a loss about. I removed a bunch of emissions items. Could these make my 93s13 not start. The motor came from an s14 if that helps any.

I had the same problem with my car. All I did was change my spark plugs and wires and started up. Your knock sensor and your engine temp. are up front next to your water pump inlet on the intake manifold.
