I am not arguing with you? I just said the replacment for displacement is technology, I know you are not telling me that the RB/2J is weaksauce......Technology has yet to breech the the door that is racing. I mean 7.2sec out of an in-line 6 in the 1/4 mile is pushing the envelope. it is no 7000hp v8 but damn.

To add I did say I would love to have a LS1 to play with.

Yeah yeah yeah but the fact stated was there is no replacement for displacement and that is a false statement technology is the answer.

When you add that technology to you get the lengenfelter Corvette

http://www.lingenfelter.com/

Let me get one thing straight now..........I love cars I am not a brand Junky nor am I a Japanese vs American guy I could careless about that ****, I know that dollar for dollar the V8 can out match any japanese 4/6 cycl but I know what I can afford and for the most part it is more than what people can so I knock no one or what they have I don't come on here to talk crap about people and tell them they are stupid or DKS. Nor do I argue on the internet or in this post, if you can take a V8 and build it up and beat me then more power to you If I had a V8 I would do it just for the hell of it because there is nothing like the sound of a V8..............Anyway Off topic sorry.

RB can only go up to 600hp after that the freeze plug breaks.

If you get the N1 block that can handle as much as you can throw at it.

Well you should take a trip over here and see that there are many over 700hp RB(26's which is what I was always referring to) on stock bottom ends people have so many misconceptions about things but, until they can experiance it, they just go by hearsay.

No just regular old RB26 block, T88, 1000cc inj, Nismo Fuel pump, Power FC, and a few other items to make the power and a good tune.

Even when I was rolling around in my GT-R it was set up about the same way T88, power FC, Stock block, I was well over 600RWHP had to disable Front wheel Drive because there is no 4wd Dyno here on Island. N1 block is pricey and not as abundant as you might think. Now some of the cars were Vspec and came with N1 block. 600hp is an easy HP level to attain twin GT2530 will get you 600hp on the RB26 twin IHI RX6 turbos will get you a 1000hp. GT-R's are like roaches here and well most people here don't have the money to build up their GT-R so they run what they brung and most are just mildly built.
