Question Newbie w/question(PS I searched)

OK. So I have an offer for a 95 240 w/a s13 sr20det(blacktop) Now in the new issue of Turbo they have all the specs. It says...
-s13 sr20det(redtop/blacktop)=205hp and 203tq w/t25 370cc inj
-s14 sr20det(blacktop)=220hp and 203tq w/t28 370cc inj
-s15 sr20det(blacktop)=250hp and 203tq w/t28 and 480cc inj

So what woud I need to do to the s13 to get the power of a s14 or 15? Would the bigger turbo get me the same specs as a s14? I know that the s15 has VVT right? So I cant change that. So what are my options? In other world how do I make a s13 motor into a s14? Thanks for your time

One more thing..where is the MAF in these motor? Is it before or after the turbo(I need to know for tuning)thanks
SPE

The MAf is before the turbo, thus why you need to run a recirculating BOV or tune for the loss of air VVT is not something that you want lots of people delete it, it causes more problems than the benefits of it. instead of buying an s14 t28 you could get something like a gt28rs that is ball bearing and will spool harder and make more power than the stock t28

OK thanks a lot. But I have seen guys run their sr's with chicken wire(screens) over the inlet of the turbo and that's it! Do any of you other guys do this? That would reqire relocationg the MAF...if I am correct, or switching of to MAP sensor.

to avoid haveing to retune your mafe make a flow through setup so it meeters the air after your IC

and i agree with silkroad on the rest

The S13 motor is rumored to be the best design internally, just suffers from a small turbo. "Disco Potato" it or slap on a aftermarket manifold and T3.
