Cool Prepare to drool.

A little something we've been working on for a special customer.

More pictures and updates on our project page. Check it out, and keep dreaming.

So, who is this customer? Does he compete in serious competitions, or something? Thats an awful lot of money it looks like to just be playing around with...unless you got it like that, I guess.

The customer is a major suspension manufacturer. If you look at the color accents you can probably guess who. It is intended for competition (naturally) and promotional use.

that thing is sitting pretty far back in the bay... it'll most likely handle pretty good too.

Yes, we had talked to some other shops that had done the RB26 swap and the primary complaint was that the engine shifted the weight too far forward. The solution is to cut out the firewall and make custom mounts, which you can see more clearly in some of the other photos. Leg clearance could be an issue afterwards, but fortunately our driver is fairly short.

Lol. I guess you could always locate the seat a little farther back, assuming no ones going to sit back there...lol.

A whole bunch of new (old) pictures have been added to the project page. More details of the:

widebody kit,

semi-tube frame chassis (shhh!), and

the Tein guys giving it their nod of approval.

It's out of the shop now getting the last finishing touches before it makes its debut at SEMA. After the show, it'll be coming back for a little extra work that didn't make it due to time constraints. From there it is off to Tokyo Auto Salon!
