RB vs SR

How much more does the RB25 or 26 motor weigh over the sr20 motors? I'm thinking of doing a swap, but am undicided because i plan to drift the car, and im not sure if the weigh of the rb motor is going to throw off the balance of the car.

if you cant drift cause a few pounds difference, or you cant figure out that you just have to remove or move a few things to alter your weight balance, you not only shouldnt be making your car any faster, but you shouldnt bother to drift, and you shouldnt waste time on an automotive forum. I think its great that they entered a firebird in formula D, and it did very well for his first time out in the car. That has a worse weight balance than a 240 with an RB25 and 4 pro wrestlers sitting on the hood.
my point is if you are good you can practice and make it happen, otherwise shut up and stop whining.

Yeah seriously, customers would always ask about that.."can I still drift the car with the RB", for christ sake, it's just weight on the front of the car, no different than if it came from the factory like that, you just have to adjust your driving style/adapt to the change in weight.

if you already have the SR dont waste the money on the RB yeah there great engines but look into cost for one the RB25 is anywhere from $2500-3500 just for the engine, tranny, harness then you have to get specail mounts for them they dont just bolt in not to mention getting parts for this sort of thing will be a pain. I read up on it if your not planning on running more then 400hp then the RB is really just pointless unless your going for the whole look i have a RB in my 240. Then we move on to the RB26 lol thats a great engine but it doesn't fit the 240 without major modification so im not going to even go there,, big bucks! Stick with the SR20 or mod the KA thats my 2 cents
