Question RB20 in s13 ballanced?

ok well i bought an 89 240 planning on swapping an sr20det then i came to this board and saw everyone talking about rb20s being very easy to swap into the 240... my question is tho i bought the 240 because i heard the chassie is very balanced. and it has great handling for what it is... now i dont plan on building my car for drag im more into road racing does the rb20det throw off the natural balance of the s13 chassie significantly?

the rb20 is i think 100 pounds more or less heavier than a sr20 so yea the balance will be off a tad.

I did the swap and relocated my battery to the rear, and I haven't noticed my ride height being any lower-I measured before I pulled the Twin Cam out.

well i hear the 240 already suffers some understeer and an extra hundred pounds could only make it worse so i guess the sr20 is the best swap for my car

The RB20 is about 40-60 pounds heavier then the KA. Will you notice that while road racing, probably. If you tune your suspension well and tune the engine well then all that would go away.

I'm also not running power steering or A/C, and I have a base model 89 coupe so it's the lightest model. You hear a RB20 you will be hooked, 2 customers with SR's got converted tonight when they heard my swap fire up.

I agree with hyjynx if you are set up properly it will go away, understeer is from the tire not staying flat to the ground. Play with spring rates and camber settings and you can balance out any car.
