Taking apart will probably be limited pictures(anyone can take something apart), but going in I will do some detailed pics especially the wiring and tach replacement. I've been looking at and have dissasembled the guage cluster and I think that if you can get aftermarket faces for the Sr20 cluster you could slide them over the RB tach and install it in your stock cluster. It'd be cool to use the whole cluster with the factory boost guage but the shape isn't the same, I don't think it will fit. Anyway I gotta wait a few weeks until the shop clears out a bit and then I'll start the install.

In order to fit the R32 gauge cluster, you need to do a little cutting to the dash, no biggy but a lot of people just swap tachs into their original gauge cluster

I'd really like to use the whole cluster if it fits. Factory Boost Guage How much cutting and where, just on the bezel or on the dash itself? It looked to me like the stock guage cluster curves down more on the ends and that the two upper side guages would be partly hidden. I know the tach does swap but the faces are different, and that I will have to run the mech. speedo cable with the cluster.

yeah I have that one too, it's in a S14, and it was just kinda shoved in the hole. I want as close to OEM as possible.

well it's out and I'm sorting the speghetti out of the harness I pulled. The engine harness is simple but I'm trying to figure out the guage cluster, and if I need to save the rest of the car harness or if I can toss the empty clip? My car currently runs with the KA24 and when I disconnnect the dash plug the only thing that doesn't work is the temp guage so I don't know what the other dozen wires in the plug are for? DO i need the RB fues box and the rest of the front car harness?

the rb25 cluster fits into the s14 nicely, its tight enough not to go anywhere, and it looks amazing at night ... so screw oem, hahah

Yeah I was gonna say ur RB20 looks like the stripped down special hope you didn't pay too much for it. Thanks for the PM Christian about the wiring, just so I know it will run then I can play with it from there to get everything else working. I was playing with my KA and it's wiring and noticed the car still runs and everything except the temp guage works when I unpluged the dash plug(my tach hasn't worked since I swapped the DOHC tho). Where the engine harness attaches to the fuse box and the plugs are different, did you just match the colors? The motor is really nice I comp tested it at 180 PSI and like 120 on the first pump! Even had recent NGK Iridiums in it Timing belt, idler, and tensioner are on the way. Now the search continues for the ever elusive "perfect turbo".
