I got a question or two about the RB25DET motor. Can any of the internals like the pistons or rods or crank, fomr a RB26 work in the RB25? I assumed they would because they're both RB series blocks. Dunno.

All the RB25 and 26 internals are interchangable, the RB25 block need a little work to accomidate the 26 stuff, but it does fit.

 

I had an idea that you were on here, lol. Got any plans for your new car? I'm starting to get some ideas, I should be getting a 95 240SX w/ in next month 1/2.

 

Nice, I am planning on RB26DETT with twins and fully functioning ATESSA but I am unsure of the body yet....either S30, S13, or S14 but I am unsure which just yet...depends on engine crossmember/suspension configuration to get the AWD setup functioning properly. Probably gonna use the S13 truth be told. Where you getting your 240 from and when we gonna swap it?

OMG, that sounds sick. I'd love to go RB26DETT but RWD, but I wouldn't have enough for single upgrade at that point, so it'd b around $11,000 for motorset and turbo upgrade. RB25DET I know is decently cheap, and I know you have some experience there . I'd get an S13 or 180, but 1. I don't like how so many people have them around here and 2. The S14 has more room in the engine bay.
