rb25det cold start problem

i just got a rb25det put into my 95 240. when the engine is cold, it takes me about 20 min. to get the engine started. the voltmeter on my turbo timer reads 12.3/12.4 when i am trying to start it. Can anyone tell me what this could possibly be.

temp sensor, 2 wires ont he coolant return line up top of the engine in front of the intake manifole. swap it with the old KA sensor and see if that helps at all.

Jon, do you know what the resistance should be reading on the RB sensor when it is cold? That way I could test it first.

You gotta test voltage coming out....should be like +5V going in and +3V coming out at around 65 degrees.
