Rb25det Fmic

hey guys, I'm doin an rb25det swap on my s13... and i got a prob... i want a FMIC and i finally contacted mckinney and they told me that they can special order a greddy intercooler w/ custom piping for me... but I was wondering if it matters at all that I have an R34 rb25det and not an R33 or R32 like everyone elses'. I'm kinda concerned because the motor looks COMPLETELY different from the other rb25det's.... I attatched a pic of my motor so u guys can take a look... I really wanna know if the FMIC kit for the R33 or R32 RB25DET's will work for R34 RB25DET... Thanks for the help.... i really dont get why only the R34 rb25det looks different... the r34 rb26dett's look the same as all the other skyline motors... mine's an oddball

Oh you have the Neo RB25.

Nothing is dramitaclly different other then wiring and a few other things. It came in R34 Stagea. The IC set up should be the same though.

Order a Hybrid FMIC kit for a r33 skyline it'll bolt up to any rb20 or 25 swap and go right in. There is one on ebay right now for $650 shipped.

IIRC, the biggest differance is it has NEO variable valve lift timing and the wiring is a bit different. Also the plastic cover...but you allready knew that lol. Everything else is the same from what I know

so basically the only diff is that it has a Honda's VTEC system kinda thing then right? I thought the RB motor's already had a V.V.T.T already
