red light on s13 ecu??

red light on s13 ecu??
the red light on my ecu is stayin on even while the car is running. anyone know if its supposed to be on and if not what does it mean? also the air bag light keeps flashin on my dash. its an s13 sr20 swapped into an '96 240sx. what does all this mean?
