S13 to s14 KA24DE swap

i was wondering if i would have to hae the s14 ecu to change the ka24de motor over . or can i use my old ecu? with the s14 ka24de?

you cant use an S14 ECU with an OBD1 setup... different plugs

can i use the s13 ecu with a s14 ka24de? or do i need s14 ecu

You can use the s13 ecu. I did.

yes if you swap the OBD1 electronics over you can use it...You CANT use a obd1 ecu on a obdII setup and vice versa.

okay sweet i threw a rod bearing and looking at lower milage motors. cuz i had flood waters that i had ran threw and it cracked my block and all my oil leaked out and im buying a new motor.

damn that sucks....

just swap all of your electronics and engine harness over to the new engine.... turn key and start.

yea man but i got it fixed now. new s13 engine on the way from tenessee so putting it next week. ganna be awesome cant wait then looking into turboing the ka24de. yay go me. first car that i will have boosted.

i def. will man i cant wait i love my 240sx. lol cant wait to be boosted. and when i coming back to states bigg? i seen your pics from dc and im about 6hrs from dc.
