Well, I guess it's definitely opinion based, considering I am trying to go KA-T, but at the same time, the SR is stronger because it's internally built to be boosted. Maybe I shouldn't be so vauge, I'm not trying to pass my opinions as fact, but there are a lot of variables involved in making power, internals are important, but AFTER all that, displacement becomes the big issue...

...Oh, and making torque.
Its not really opinion based, the facts are out there.

But nonetheless, I like SR and I like KA. Both are good engines.

There are a lot of variables yes, but only to a point and how much power you wanna make.
So displacement really becomes an issue when wanting power?

Then why do F1 cars have 2998cc V10 engines that make 900+hp? 3 litre V10 is kinda small dont you think?

Anyways i dont want to turn this into a debate. I hope the thread starter is happy with what ever choice they made.

True story. When theres nothing left to burn, you've got to set yourself on fire.

Because they rev to almost 20,000 rpms

whats the purpose behind this drag car? or do u just want a car that can run 12's? u would really be better off with buying a cheap v8 car and throwing nitrous or something on than bulding an sr up to be that fast, yes sr's can be extremely fast, but for a lot more money than v8's can. i love my sr to death but i realize v8s have the advantage, but to me its just that much sweeter when i beat a car with double the motor as me, but it definately does cost $$$

I also get a kick out of beating a car with twice the moter i think its crazy. I love the 240 so thats why i was asking. I just wanted to make sure i could beat a mustang or corvet before i put my money into it.
