seperate tranny from bellhousing? need to know by tomorrow!

spent 4 hours in the junkyard today removing a transmission from a RWD 200sx because I need the bellhousing for a swap. The motor is a ca20e. I got the transmission out and there is the bellhousing, then a 1 inch block of metal then the tranny. They are seperated and i broke the seal bond and i can wiggle them, I can get about an inch between the 1inch block and bellhousing and maybe 2.5 inches gap between the tranny and 1inch block. I just cant get the three seperated, i don't think they just pull apart. Anyone have any idea??

thanks

I know what you're talking about... but have never taken one apart. Are there fasteners inside the bellhousing by the input shaft?

I have a 200SX FSM I could scan the page and mail it to you if you want.
