single cam to twin cam

single cam to twin cam

i have a single cam and i need to swap it to a twin cam ka wha would i need to do the swap besides the motor, tranny, ecu, wiring harness?

ummm I'm not sure you need to swap the tranny, unless you're goin from auto to manual. If I'm wrong someone kindly correct me.

what about the motor mounts? would i need to buy diff ones or will the ka fit the single cam motor mounts?

i'm doing the same project...need help swap single cam to dual cam...motor mount is the same cause SR20 used the same mount as the KA..other than that i don't no..

ic well i have the ecu, wiring harness, tranny, my friend did a sr20swap on his car so he has all his old parts all i was waiting for was to know if i needed diff motormounts. if i dont that means its a straight swap

yeah...is better if u change all the old parts out and puts new parts in..since the motor is still out and easier to fix..pully, water pump, n ect...
