S13 240 SR20det Swap (Need Help)

I have been procrastinating forever with my swap. I am set on the sr20det because of lack of money. I love my 240, but unfortunately do not know a lot about motors. I have talked to many people that have been giving me several different prices on SR20det swaps. I have heard that a complete swap can run me around $4000 after the install. After searching for sr20's on ebay i have noticed that their are several different types of sr20's. They have blacktop, red top (which seems to be more common). Is there a power difference between the red top and black top. what is the main difference. I have been searching for answers for all of these questions, but have not found them. My friend suggested i try a forum. I am not an idiot when it comes to cars but i am not capable of doing a full motor swap. But i also do not think that it should cost as much as the motor for the install. I would appreciate any serious comments to make search for a SR20det easier on me. Thank you in advance for your help.
If you could also send me links that have COMPLETE SWAPS. I am talking everything that I need b/c i may try to complete the install with my uncle who is very good with cars, but will not put up with my b/s. I need everything to just bolt in and have the car ready to drive home.

awd sr's??? did u mean rwd?

as for where to get them, you would be best ordering them through a reputable shop that will test the motor and warranty it, not ebay. Some places include heavythrottle.com , xatracing.com and many others.

as for better, well the 13 is gonna be the cheapest, black and red are same except black are newer which usually have less miles. 14 would be better if u have the extra money, but if not then it really dont matter. 15 owns all but of course you pay for it..
