which sites are best? legit

what bout these?

http://dragdriftautox.com/

http://www.total-boost.com/index.cf...jdm_engines.htm

http://www.ardperformance.com/cgi-b...pl?action=index

http://night7racing.com/

which would you guys pick? I'm leaning toward the 3rd one... i'm really iffy bout the ebay guy (raceup) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...em=2457645154, i want the front clips tho... this guy seems iffy cuz he reponds to his neg feedback with "i've sold over 200 motors on ebay" but he only has 88 feedback and his neg feedbacks are pretty bad, but he does have some good ones.... maybe his friends boosting it up or his other accounts? i dunno. he seem legit or not? but ya, check out the other sites too!

s14 sr20det
rb20det
rb25det

^ usin those motors in a 240sx probally a 89-94...

RaceUp in Miami is a pretty good shop. They sell clean motors and clips. Check out www.zfever.com and www.xatracing.com here in Tampa for more info as well..or check out www.raceup.com.

contact Ryan at RS Imports... www.rsimports.vze.com ... thats where i got my rb25 clip and they are great guys to deal with ...

Night has delivered the engines he owed i guess? never really read too much of it, but personally he will never see any of my money simply because of the way he conducts himself as a business man. Not trying to start an argument, but you asked opinions, that is mine.

I wish you knew half of what went on in the import world....you know your buddy Ryan? He had the exact same problem as me at around the same time because of customs in Seattle...why don't you try asking him about it? He wasn't a big name so it's not all over the place, but just like me, his history isn't squeaky clean. He's a cool guy and all, JonPowell got his motor from him too. The only "conducting" that you don't like is arguing against you on the forum...I get provoked, that's what I do, just the same as you. No flame war necessary, there's my opinion.

Almost all of the major shops at least in Tampa with the exception of Secret Services sells items on EBAY. The shops I listed are proven shops...I've personally never bought anything from Raceup in Miami, but was told by a local swap installer that if I wanted to get a clean/complete motorset/clip to call Ricky at Raceup. Just call any of the shops...contact is a beautiful thing..feel each one of the shops out, ask plenty of questions, ask them to provide you with compression numbers in writing if possible, then make your choice. Raceup I beleive has been around for quite some time.

Also, right now Z-Fever is having a groupbuy on S13 Blacktops which only include the motor/tranny/ecu for $1699...which is pretty damn good if your local such as myself...no shipping cost, you get your own pick of motors, etc. For $299 they will convert your KA harness/SR to work with A/C, $99 for SOHC S13 MAF or $149 for Z32 MAF, as well as a few other things. Check out our local site for more info.

$300 to wire a friggen SR20DET??? Send me both harnesses and I'll do it for $150...how's that? I have SOHC MAF's I'll sell for $50....my Z32's are the same price. I know some peepz that got stuff from Raceup and weren't too thrilled cause they had to spend extra money on a bunch of extra things that were supposed to be "ok" with the engine and weren't....like a stripped spark plug hole....

It can happen to anyone as far as having problems with the "extra things" but I've only heard of good things about them and one of our local guys says they are worthy..and he sells clips/motorsets as well...yeah I know it seems high, but the gb doesnt include the harness...they used cut ones and your KA one..so $300 isnt too bad if you total out the price for the set. I thought about buying a RB25det clip from you Night, but everyone and their mother locally says to not waste my time with the RB Series motors because of the ongoing weight inbalance, etc...but I still have some learning to do about the different options.

Weight balance is the last issue reguarding the RB25DET's...they weigh about 80 pounds I believe more than the KA....swap your battery to the back and you're pretty much set. My RB car rides better than my SR car (handling wise)....so I don't know what they're talking about. The RB also has a lot more potential than the SR (about to get flamed)...but it's true, RB25 has more potential, as does the RB20 since you can make it a RB24....
