Aight, i was just chekin. And to add on about the weight distribution..a battery relocation to the rear will also help. Keep it more balanced.

SCC say the RB25 weighs in at 180 lbs. more... I don't wanna see the battery that can offset that kind of weight.

Well the A/C weighs about wut..15-20 pounds..and the battery i dunno..40 so thats about 60 pounds off the front. And i dont trust SCC's Weight lol ive heard so many numbers..60-70..around 100..now 180!?

Anyway..it depends which RB series you are comparing. The RB and SR20 are so close in performance, it comes down to other things. The RB20 makes 215HP and 185TQ. The SR20 makes 250 on both I believe. So what you lose in HP you make up in TQ. Besides there are ways to remoe weight from the front to make up for the heavier engine. LIke i dont think the RB THAt much heavier than the KA. Remove the A/C and maybe move the battery to the back.
ahhh, touché!! as a matter of fact sir, ur right! i never bothered to search to see if anyone had done the rb26 swap, since i'm not looking to do one. so yeah, had i searched, i might have found it. by the way, did they mention how they got it in there while keeping the TT? i see they sell a kit, but there's no info on what it is or what it does. oh, and would u mind posting a link to that, since all i've found were message board threads w/people saying that mckinney was still in the process of doing that. even mckinney's site had no info on the finished product. oh, by the way, if u had searched, u'd know that the S15 SR only puts out between 202-205 ft-lbs of torque.

Who said anything baoyt S15 SR20's??? One of the owners of Mckinney posted saying it was done over at NICO.

And we know there is no battery that will move 180lbs, but tha goal is to move some of the added weight to the rear or all together to get back to that "delicate" weight ratio everyone loves so much........

hey man, my bad. it's just that the S15 SR's are the only ones i know of to make 250hp stock. nevermind, i see now from reading JynX's post that it must've been a typo... thanx for the tip on NICO, btw. i'll check it out.
