SR question

So im getting an SR soon however the motor set that i am getting has 100k miles on it already. but the thing is that the guy did a complete rebuild rods, piston, rings etc. my question is would the motor still be in good shape considering that it has 100k miles already or would it run as good as new? thanks!! oh yeah he also blue printed the motor

If the rebuild was done correctly and well, there shouldnt be any problems AT ALL. Sometimes people hurry up the rebuild and arent as careful...thus leading to a bad engine

So did he rebuild it just to sell it or has he run it in a car already? Why is he selling it? Check out all the papers on it carefully.

thanks i sure will he is a mechanic for club si and he is selling the motor i believe because he has to many laying around the garage he rebuilded it because when he got the motor it had 100k on it already so he did it just to be safe i guess. He's trying to build a reputation for us Nissan folks too cause he knows that SR swaps are hot rite now...but i sure will check for papers. is there any way to find out if anything was even done to the motor just by looking at it? any thing else i should check?
