sr is running wrong
 

so im driving and all of a sudden when i accalerate, i hear almost a pop and my car starts driving very wierd. It is like backfiring pretty badly, and as soon as soon as it feels like boost starts to kick in it looses all power, and just bogs. I just the tubes and everything looks alright... any info would be apreciated. thanks

Check your spark plugs, running rich or lean:dunno:

you also might want to check your timing

i checked the plugs, i just put new ones in, and they still look fine.
How would i go about checking my timing?

here's my quick way to check timing:

get an extra coil pack offa '95 Maxima and attack a length of spark plug wire to it. Tape the wire to the coil pack to make sure it won't pop out. Remove the coil pack for cylinder 1 and plug the harness connector to your new makeshift coil pack. plug the spark plug wire to the plug. With a timing light (go to an auto store to pick one up for about 40-50 dollars), attach the clip to the spark plug wire, and the battery cables to their proper places. crank the engine and point the light at the crank pully. Timing lights are nothing but strobes that pulse when the plug in #1 fires. You will see a small metal needle above the crank pully, guage where ignition is by what tick mark is lined up with the needle. I think it's supposed to be right behind the 4th mark (16 BTDC). You can rotate the crank angle sensor to adjust timing (the same you would do with a distributor)

another thing to check would be your exhaust gaskets and connections. make sure the gaskets are in one piece and that the connections are tight.
