my car has been running fine, but tonite when i was driving, i felt hesitation in 2nd and 3rd gear..basically, when i start to push down on the throttle at 2nd and 3rd gear the engine starts to feel like its bogging...like hesitating, then then i push more on the throttle and its ok..when im in 3rd im at about 2000 rpm..any suggestions? thanks guys. oh yeah, i was running bout 94 octane..

 

have you checked your fuel pressure, How much boost are you running. You might want to change the fuel filter, would be a good step in the right direction, maybe.

 

i put a 300zx fuel filter in not too long ago, i just changed oil too, i havent checked fuel pressure...dont know how...but i did get a walbro fuel pump today...im running about 10 psi boost.

problem update: it hesitates in all gears now..if i push down on the gas, it feels like its hesitating alot...my friend said my fuel pump might be going out..or maybe my air flow sensor??? please guys, any suggestions?

 

update: replaced fuel pump with the walbro....fixed everything, period. now its time for dyno tune with the s afc.
