Kinda confusing, but lemme get this straight.

You have a 93 240, and you want to drop in a SR20DE(JDM engine) from a S14?

Get a front clip, thats the easiest.

The KA ecu WILL NOT WORK. They are totally different engines.

KA tranny will fit(you have to switch bellhousings), but why not get the SR. tranny?

hm, cant you make about as much power and more torque out of an NA KA that you can with an NA SR? and it will still be smog legal, also what do you plan to use for headers??

yeah maybe you can make as much power from a ka but i rather go sr20 because of the jdm way the non turbo sr resides under the hoods of japanese s14's and its a non turbo with around 180 hp and 176 lbs of torque add some spray and you have yourself some fun. Since this is a japanese common engine HKS makes a header for it around 5 benjies well worth the money, hey its hks. One last question will the s14 tranny bolt right on the s13 without any problems. By the way if anyone is wondering why im not going DET hey i dont like trends i start my own love this web site

If you do the complete swap, you should have no problems with the SR S14 tranny at all.

RSR and Fujitsubo also make DE headers. Im in the same boats since Im installing a DE into a 75 Triumph Spitfire, but I didnt get a clip so I only have half the stock headers. If you get the full clip and want to sell the stock headers send me a PM.

and how do all you guys pass smog with these things? I dont have to worry about it(1975 and older are exempt in CA)

Of course you need the wiring harness for the S14 SR. Check srswap.com if you want to , they have a little FAQ

The driveshaft will work.

I'm pretty sure you need a manual harness...but check the FAQ section of this site to read about the manual converison.
