the SR20DET engine. Is this engine already fitted with a turbo already ? or one have to put in a turbo after doing an engine swap.

If i were to get a 97 240sx, what other things should i need to change in the car if i want to push around 250 hp.

The SR20DET comes with a turbo, The SR20DE does not. Whenever you see Nissan engine codes if it ends in a "T" it's a turbo engine. The number of "T's" is the number of turbos on the engine. For example the RB26DETT is twin turbo while the SR20DET has a single turbo. To answer you're other question I'd say buy an intake, exhaust, and a boost controller. Turn the boost up and you should get that hp. I'm not exactly sure though so someone correct if I'm wrong.

get an S13 engine, use a T28 BB from an S14 engine, get a nice fmic, and boost to 1 bar. that's about all you need.

 

You definately don't need a T28 for only 250 whp.

 

get an S14 engine. raise boost. there ya go.
