sr20det motor only or motor plus trans

i was wondering if a sr20det motor will bolt on to my stock 5speed 91 240sx trans. the reason is just the motor is 950 but with tranny is 1500. what do u guys suggest i do. what have you learned from ur swaps. thinking of front clip also and wheres the best place to buy drivetrains and front-clips from thanks.

no, the ka transmission will not bolt to the sr20, but you will need the speed sensor from it...

where did you find a motor for sale without tranny? I have never been able to find one complete with everything (ECU, Uncut harness, Ignitor chip, etc) but with no transmission (hopefully for less $$ than a complete motor + tranny... I am really looking for a source for these (sucks to have to pay shipping for a tranny I can't sell and won't use)
