Sr20det question

Ive been doing research in the 240 and the silvia conversion and there is one question that comes to my mind: can a sr20det engine be swapped into a 240 without the use of a s13 front clip? or does the 240 need the silvia clip in order to accept the sr20det? please help me out.

thanks

from what I've learned, you can drop in the motor/tranny from the silvia with little effort, but it's better to have the front clip so that you're more likely to have everything you need. otherwise, you might end up having to hunt for maf sensor, ecu, intercooler, i/c piping, harness, a/c compressor, ignitor chip, etc. usually, a front clip is guaranteed to have everything you need to do a swap.
