SR20DET-S15 Front Clip Question
I have a question about a 97'-98' 240sx. If i buy a auto tranny and i do a engine swap to a SR20DET-S15 Front Clip (Complete S15 SR20DET Engine 1998cc Displacement 250 hp@6000 RPM and 203 lb-ft at 4800 RPM 8.5:1 Compression Ratio Garrett T-28 Turbo w/ T03 Compressor Wheel Injector Size 480CC/min stronger rod, 6 speed RWD Transmission ) How hard (if i could) would it be to change the auto to the 6 speed tranny ?
Any help would be awsome!
The only reason i ask is b/c i have found a hell of a lot of auto 240's but not many 5-spd in my price range.

the only hard part about changing the missions is installing the pedals and lines. There is another thing.... the drive shaft fromt he mission to the diff. I dont know if this will mate or if your gonna need to cut and weld. You might as well get the s15 diff while your at it to avoid this and give you another upgrade.
which I havent Why dont you just buy a 240 w/ a 5spd? you say its out of your price range but how much is the complete s15 swap gonna run ya? seems like if you could afford that you can afford a silly 5spd KA.
