I just recently finished my sr swap and last weeked finally let it loose and was on the highway were my car stopped at 118 mph does anybody know of some type of way to get the sr's speed higher like is there a chip or different ecu to have. or does nebody know how to take the stock sr govener off. i just want to know thanks if you can help..

Cut the speed signal to the ECU and you will accomplish your mission...cant remember the exact wire on the SR20, but if you search this forum, I posted which wire before.

 

What year sr are you running? I have a few daughterboards left and I can remove the speed limiter, boost/fuel cut, raise the rev limit, and tweak tha fuel/timing maps for a few more hp.

 

the red tops year is a 1993... so these daughterboards you are talking about are they compatable with this year sr? if so how can i get one?

so the daughter board is able to work with the 93 models sr20det redtop. i am located in detroit,michigan but if youa re not far away i am very interested in this board , question will the speedo work on my turbo timer sill or will it be disabled?
