sr20det startup NO CRANK

hey guys i need your help, save me from some frustration. I am all done with my s13 redtop install into my '90 fastback and ready for startup. I tried to start the car and got nothing. I could hear the fuel pump hum and also have all dash lighting and signals. I went to heavythrottle and read through their troubleshooting guide. For an engine that won't crank they suggest to check main power wiring and start signal wire to ECU. I wired the car myself so these connections may be bad and i know what wires they are so i can check them. However heavythrottle also says to check the clutch interlock switch. I do not know what the clutch interlock switch is, where to find it, or what to do if i find it. If you guys could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated thanks

Clutch intelock switch is on top of the clutch pedal...did you go auto to 5 speed?

and do you mean no crank as in the engine wont turn over at all or as in it turns over but doesnt start?

try to jump the starter if it wont crank by using a screwdriver and touching the 2 terminals of the starter together...that will tell you if the sterter is A)getting power and B)is blown

yea it won't crank at all, not turning over so i shouldnt need to touch the clutch interlock switch since i had a manual ka24e before. What is the process i should go through with the starter?

Plug in the switch....

There are 2 terminals on the starter...one for CONSTANT POWER STRAIGHT FROM THE BATTERY and one for TRIGGERING THE STARTER FROM THE KEY SWITCH. Make the 2 touch with a long handled screwdriver. Make sure its in neutral though because if its not the car WILL move.

AMS would sound good to me if it wasnt this forums main sponsor. We'll have to work on that.

We'll talk about SR20 power vs M power when the SR20 starts making power.
