supaslow sr rebuild the beginings...

the sr lays dead under the ugly primer hood of the resting beast.
seeing as how the owner(I) has never attempted a bore/sleeve operation, he(I) is seeking knowledge(prices, helpful tips/tricks) of boring the SR to 2.2L. Information such as prices, required upgrades(pistons, crankshaft, rods?), etc.. like any bum would write on his cardboard, any help is appreciated, but no food please.

Thanks,
Doug.

no target HP, just a fun build with lots of goodies.
i probably wont do much transmission-wise which means i probly wont go much over 300, eventually i will get greedy and do something with the tranny somewhere down teh road.

I havent taken off the head yet but i have emense blowby so i assume it was the rings because there was no metal on metal sounds and it only got worse as i drove it home(smoke that is). In this case I also assume that I either need a new block(because it is alluminum) or I need to bore/sleeve it(if I do this might as well move up in the world) anyone have any alternatives?
