Im new and not to familiar with 240's, but is silvia a brand of car or just a conversion for the 240. Also can someone give a newbie like me some info on the sr20det engine?

0k dude, Silvia is the name of the 240sx in Japan. S13/RPS13 = 89-94 coupe/HB
180sx= 95-? HB
S14=95-98 coupe (there were 2 types of S14's, the zenki and the kouki, the kouki have the more aggressive headlights)
S15=99-current? coupe

180sx's were made in Japan from '88-'98. S13 Silvias from '88-'93, then they switched to the S14. 180sx's look completely identicle to all years, '89-'93, 240sx hatchs. '89-'94 coupes look like Silvias with 180sx front ends. That's why the JDM S13 Silvia conversion is so popular for coupes. It's also very poopular for hatches though which with this conversion are called Sil-Eighties. Half Silvia half 180sx.

 

Why does the s14 kouki come with headlights?

 

o0k the first pic is a Zenki S14 then the second pic is a Kouki S14.

 

Sorry I thought the s14 was just an engine. As you can see I am a complete newbie that doesnt know **** so woeld you mind giving me some sites that have info on the S14 Kouki. Last but not least what kind of ground kit is that on the Kouki?

i belive that body kit is the GPsports aero kit (G4), but im not totally sure. Oh yea and if u wanna find info on the S14 then just search for sum, u can find plenty.
