V8 swap need help, read before delete

Okay, I am interested in doing a LT1/T56 swap into my 240. Now I know you moderators are going to send me links saying there is information there but I checked all the links and they dont tell me anything important. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a site that sells kits and has a walkthrough on the installation. And for you "OMG CHEVY/NISSAN?!?!?! " Take it somewhere else because I don't care if you would buy a fox body instead of swapping it into a 240. The 240 is my favorite car and I want to hit the hp range I want without having to spend hardcore cash, while looking good.

I think the guy that used to post here (name was something like V8 240 or something) made and sold kits, you could try emailing him and see if he responds???

Let's all think back to Carroll Shelby before we go bashing putting a good high HP engine in a car it was not "intended" for.

"AC Cars (Auto Carrier) of Thames Ditton, England, lost the source for the six cylinder Bristol engine for its two-seat roadster in September 1961. Carroll Shelby airmailed a letter of proposal to the company to keep building the chassis for a special Shelby sports car to be powered by an American V8."

We all know where this went. A light, well built chassis with an engine that was never intended for it, and it is the same idea now.

I like NA power and applaud anyone who wants to be innovative.

P.S. I did a search for "V8 240" and couldn't find that username... Anyone remember what this guys name was? I would like to get into contact with him.
