vg???

the vg engine outta the 300zx seems like a great choice for an engine swap alotta power its legal but ive heard alot about how they brakedown or somthing is this ture????

they do, but all motors will eventually, depends on how they were treated...not worth the time or $ for the power...thats why its not very common

Also, it's a ****ing huge engine, leaves very little room to work on the car if it would break down.

I had a 91 300zx... Trust these guys, you dont want to go through the headaches and stress over how bad this motor can bend you over for.

The only good thing about the 300zx is the brakes (if you know where to find the parts to mount the rear) and the diff. Everything else... toss it in the junk yard.

the vg30 is a great engine in its own right... but not meant for a 240. My sister's maxima didnt have any problems with it.. but i dont like belts, and yes, that is a huge motor. PITA to work on no matter what its in
