Hey, Im lookin at a 240sx w/o an engine. its a good deal, but I can't find any palces that sell KA24de engines for reasonable prices. Do you guys know of any places? Or do any of you have one laying around that ya wanna sell . thanks guys.

i do, but i need to drive until i can get the money for a sr20 and my current daily drive im sharing with my sister and ive bout had enuff of that ...

 

as for the engine just go to a junkyard.but you havent told us how much the car costs.

 

375 for the car im gunna go do a thurogh inspection tomarrow. and all the junkyard i have found the engines have been mutalated.

Well if i get the car it will be probobly sometime this week or next, it can sit in my driveway w/o an enigne till my homeoners assocation gets all over me bout it. so im not sure how long that will be. I want one ASAP but i can live with out one for a while. I do have a car, i just have to share it with my sis


does ut KA run good? is it manual or auto? And where are you located?

it was sitting in my friends driveway for couple of months after he got his brand new evo i wish i could have a evo too !!!
so i pay him 900 and take it away vvvvvv
i drove a 2001 celica before is really different feel
specially racing downhill , it will take me a long time to get used to the car before i start drifting downhill hehehe

i have a KA for ya!!!

i doesnt start sence i changed the Head gasket and i havent had time to look at it. but i desided that my baby is not gunna hit the streets till after the swap so u can have mine for like $300 or so.

im in wiscosin which is closer than NY

its a manual and has about 150k on it if i remember right. when i took her apart everything looked almost new exept fopr the carbon deposets on the piston heads but thats normal.

You're obviously not looking hard enough because In the last 3 months I have bought 3 ka24de's. 2 with 90K from a 91 and 92. The other 28K from a 97. Just call a junk yard and ask if they can have a nation wide locator servise, most do, and they will call you back and most likely they do because ka's grow on trees in the United States. Good luck with engine and later sr.

thanks but i dont htink ill be needing it...the jack *** sold it out from under me (i looked at it and liked it but didnt have the money on me, i told him id come back tomarrow (today) and he said some dude came by and offered him 400 and had it iwht him so he sold it....what a F*cktard...

 

That really sucks man. But like I said, if you ask a salvage yard about their locator servise, they can get you one in a day or two. I have 2 ka24de's right now. One's a 97 but has a spun main barring. and I have one that's a 91 and it's main is spun as well if anyone wants them. Feel free.
