im putting a s14 sr into my s14 with the usual mods fmic, manual boost controler, bov, apexi safc, 3in turbo back, header... and i want to put a external wastegate on it. but my question is how do i mount the wastegate without buying a header that has the flange on it. i know it may sound like a dumb question but can i weld a flange on the down pipe or how would i go about mounting it?

 

prolly have one welded on somewhere but itd be better just to buy one with the flange made to it already...ps is not a header once u go turbo "turbo manifold"

 

i could weld it on myself. but could i weld it on the "turbo" downpipe.
