what am i in for?

I recently pick up a 1993 240sx for 1500 and its stripped to nothing but one seat and a spedomiter in it, i have a roll cage im going to weld in it soon and an SR20DET on the way. My friends and I are going to do the swap ourselves to keep costs down, i have 2 friends who are mechanics so im not going into this completly unprepared. But i was thinking lately i want to pull 400hp out of this when im done i wont be content with just a swap so do you think i should test it before i put in the car if everyhting is fine then go ahead and work on the engine while its out of the car? Here is what i was thinking for it... Disco Potato, cams, rockers, pistons, crank, rods, headers...how does that sound? and how much bost could a stock block take without the exchange of pistons and what not?

The GT28RS is only good for like 350 hp, you would be better off with the GT2871R

well stop listening to your friend. 350 is the absolute limit for the potatoe. sr20's are not hard to make 400 whp with. injectors, engine management, bigger turbo, upgraded fuel system, Intake manifold, upgraded maf (300zx), cams, head work, fmic, and exhaust, should get you there. and don't forget to TUNE IT
