Hi all, need help with building a 240sx, its going to be a long term project and wanted to know what advice could be given to upgrade the motor , interior and exterior! Budget is $30,000, please advise on what to do i would really like to hear it!!

buy a car other than a 240 with that much money? lol

 

Get an R32 GT-R and drive it stock.

 

make the car bulletproof (like 50 cents), throw some 26 inch spinner rims and coat the car in ggggooooooolllllldddddd. oh wait 30,000. ummmmm throw 10,000 into it and invest the rest.
seriously, you could do what ever your heart desires for 30,000, just make sure u plan the route ahead of time so you don't end up waisting your money on stuff you may not need. Go to McKinney Motorsports in temecula and consult the owners. they're s13/s14 gods!

 

buy a 89 240 for no more than 1500 then wire the rest to my bank account

wish I had 30k to blow on a Car. They're right though you can pick up a Skyline R32 GTR or a R33 GTS-T from Motorex for about that much and be set.

 

I doubt he has $30,000. hes probly 15yrs old.

 

take 10 K and invest it between high risk accounts, low risk accounts and safe accounts. take the rest and do what ever.

I say buy a car that is already turboed like a used WRX and make it fast.

 

buy a lancer evolution RS

 

he can buy one of those if he wants to rebuild his transmission over and over and have the worst front suspension on a 4wd car in production right now

id suggest buying another car with your 30k like it was suggested a skyline!

 

i cant believe i just read people saying to by an eno and a wrx. for shame in you all...
find a 97-98 s15 sr or rb 20dett. fatty intercooler, exhaust, cams, power fc, wastegate, body kit, rims, tires, and then call me so you can just hand it over. ill do the rest on the interior

 

well since everyone is bitter against the evo and wrx you can always buy a tomei rb26 race engine and swap that in. then you can spend the few bucks left over for an lsd and good tires.

 

skyline... you would be stupid not to
