My friend who has a bone stock sr20det in his 240 ran 14.1
so hyjynx dont say that a stock sr runs 15's because that is not the case. Maybe if the engine was running bad you'd see 15's but it should be better than that
From all my friends that have been to the track, they have ran low 15s with a stock SR and stock suspension and etc.

The stock Silvia runs low 15's, so it shouldn't be much different for the 240 with an SR. Plus, who knows how stock your friends motor really is, no one knows the history/mods done to the motor internally if any. I've seen it vary from mid 15's to low 14's on a stock SR, so there is a big inconsistancy when it comes to junk yard motors.

Alot of it is driver too, keeping the revs up to stay in the power in each gear, launch, tires, and the condition of your engine to begin with. All of our swaps include LSD, so they are hooking up better and that's a huge difference. No one else who posted times said if they had LSD or not. Let us know please....

I will be able to let you all know what I run soon. But I need to break in my clutch and engine first. I have a sr20 BT with blitz 3'' downpipe, 3'' test pipe, 3'' catback, HKS FMIC, Greddy BOV, ACT XTSS Clutch, 200lbs of weight reduction, and a silvia lsd. Not sure what I will be running, but I'm hoping for some good numbers. If anyone wants to try and give me some estimates on what they think I'll run, I'd be happy to hear them, give me a rough guess what I'll be running. Once I eventually get to run I'll let you all know.

13.8 is pretty weak for a GTR, with exhaust and intake. I've watched the heaveir R34 with only exhaust run a 12.9 on street tires.

Wow, you're pretty funny. Bone stock GT-R's generally run about a 14.2...R34's have different turbos, run different boost, and actually have more HP than a R32 RB26DETT. Our platform was also RWD, so we did not have the launching abilities of an AWD GT-R...

Hyjynx - lock it...pm's are waste of time...and if you're going to edit my posts, get rid of Christians...no need to fuel a fire with sarcasm.

I did, I deleted 3 other posts that were talking about you(Including Christians). The other posts I feel arent fueling to the fire, at least not as much as the other ones were. I'd rather keep this thread open for other members to post about the actual topic, but if it happens again I will close this and delete all negative posts.
