Gauge cluster/lower harness

So my Gauge cluster lights up, the clock works, and the gas gauge partly works.. But my speedo, tach, and temp do not. I'm guessing I need a lower wiring harness but I have a s14 motor and tranny so I was wondering if the tach would work with the newer motor And tranny. Do I get the harness from a s14 or s13? Maybe it dosnt matter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

its not a lower harness.. you must manually wire the body harness wires and or get the clip from a newer S13 that features a DE motor.

this is part of the setup from converting from sohc to dohc as the soch used a analog signal. The newer setup uses a digital signal.

well i got the car as a shell. Then I got the motor and tranny from a s14. Never had the lower harness. The gauge cluster was already in the car, but nothing works but the fuel and lights.

sounds like 1 your cluster just craped out on ya or two you need the speed and rpm senser off the sohc trans plugs right in wire it up. When i was still rocking the sohc motor and my trans failed on me i got one from a 93 dohc but cuz my gauge cluster was from a sohc car i had to swap out the sensers from my sohc trans and put them in the dohc trans and then everything worked.
