i gave it a go with a sheet of polycarbonate today, and as i sort of anticipated the material got really bubbly because i didn't heat cure it first. I will try again tomorrow with a sheet of acrylic, hopefully it won't bubble up on me aswell

well here is what i ended up with trying to just form it with my hands. not half bad but i have something else i want to try tomorrow instead.

Dude that's not bad. clean those up a bit and you got a product you can sell. The topic of making these lenses is gaining interest on zilvia and 240sxforums as well - so if you are successful with this, you may have a decent market.

Trucks sold.
Now im looking for the right 240.
Found 2.
One's a 95 red zenki, one owner, 60k, se.
Buts its an auto.
Others a 98 silvermoss, mint, 80k, hot as hell.
Again its auto.
But with the money ill be making off the truck, ill have the $$$ to swap the tranny.

Nice job on the HL Lenses Spence. Can't wait to see a final product...
The god of Kouki and HID

And Casey (sp?) why not just get a 5spd car from the get-go, that way you won't have to swap it out/deal with the 'rents like with your last car.

They dont care any more.
Plus im trying to find a 5-speed, clean kouki, but its just to damn hard.
All of them are in cali and there asking 10k.
