The lights (bulbs) work fine. However, when I turn the headlights on the driver side will pop up and the passenger side will pop up halfway, then down, then halfway up again. Then, I will turn the lights off and the passenger side will go down, but the drivers side stays up.

Any suggestions?

 

passanger side headlight motor
check the ground make sure its cleaned (wire brush or sandpaper) tiny wire that connects to motor and is grounded towards the middle of the engine bay beside the headlight motor.

if it persists get a new headlight motor, used perferably new costs about 250 from nissan.
