Replacing Gauges

I'm looking to do a complete swap of my standard dashboard gauges from analog to digital. I've been in love with digital dashboards since I saw one in my Aunt's Mercury Cougar. Has anyone ever done such a swap or know where I could get compatible gauges from?

Do you mean a full digital dashboard or the digital speedometer that came on some of the 240's?

I mean a full digital dashboard, replacing the tach, the spedo, and whatever else is there.

Althought I thought Stack wasn't making gauges anymore. Guess I was mistaken.

Dude he just wants digital gauges. Old ones out, new ones in. And no not the OEM digital speedo. Why would he double them up? Thats even more retarded than the people with 2 tachs.

HAHAHA.... well lots of people don't know that they make shift lights separate from big tachs so thats why they end up with aftermarket tachs. also once you break into performance.. the stock tach is no longer accurate on older cars that is.

No plans on doubling up the gauges. I wasn't really looking for a shift light, but that would be kinda cool. This is the sort of thing I was looking for
And here's another example.

Is this something I'm going to have to custom make, or does anyone know a place where I could buy one?

That style of gauge isnt popular at all anymore. Not by a long shot. You're gonna have a hell of a time finding aftermarket gauges that look like that. Might I suggest the gauge cluster from a Z31, somehow retrofit into the 240 dash? You're probably gonna have to work something out with older gauges, but I would say it isnt worth the effort.

Or just buy a Z31 with the digital gauges. I know you would need at least a different fuel level sending unit to make that work. Since it's a nissan, maybe some of the sending units will still be compatible. (Whats even cooler on the Z31 is that the boost gauge is built into the tach. The green "wave" of the tach gets taller as boost builds)

also another option is using a s2000 cluster ive seen that done and its pretty darn sexy you just have to custom wire it.

I dont know how I feel about that S2k dash. Then again I like good ol' analog. Can you switch the colors on that s2k dash?
